2nd Half Period

2nd Half Period

The score that matters is not the one at the end of the 1st half; it is the one at the end of the 2nd half.

Before we go into the second half period, we have to go through half time. For some the half time comes in the thirties, for some in the forties, for others in the fifties, and for others it may not come at all as they continue to play the same old game until they die. Insanity according to Einstein is to continue to do the same things and expect different results.

The 1st half of life is all about security, comfort, and success. It is all about climbing that corporate latter or building your company or being a factory rat or chase, chase, chase, power and money. Most do it without even thinking about it. It is what it is. We get out there and play the best we can with the training we were given. There is nothing wrong with playing it hard, as long as we take stock during the half time.

Half time is where we take a deep breath, rest, re-energize and come up with a game plan for the second half period to play smart and to finish the game of life in a grand way.

How is your 2nd half of life game going? What is the 2nd half of life all about anyway?

Here are 7 nuggets to ponder on how to live a significant 2nd half of your life.

The 2nd half ought to be:
1.      All about being more creative.
2.      All about being more impactful.
3.      All about living a more meaningful life.
4.      All about being more adventurous.
5.      All about a life filled with more learning, purpose, destiny, and legacy.
6.      All about making more contributions that matter.
7.      All about living a life of significance.

What is the BIG thing you will be known for?

What is at the center of your life?
I hope you live for Him and have Him as your model. Eternity is a long time to be wrong. Err in the safe side.

Suggest you leave the comfort and the easy. Seek an invigorating challenge. We only get one life and the clock is ticking so get going. A job exists to help us make a living, not define our lives.

What do you want to be remembered by?

What chains are holding you?

You can be free to become who you were meant to be. You decide; no one will do it for you.

Be blessed and be a blessing to others.
