Shifting Our Thinking

We are where we are because our thinking got us there. A shift in thinking must happen to get on the path to a better life. Here are 7 nuggets to apply in our daily lives so 2013 can be the best year for all of us.

1) Let’s seek to know what we don’t know. What we don’t know is hurting us. The shift in thinking starts at the moment we make the decision to become a great student of life for life.

2) and entrepreneurs are the minority. The moment we make the decision to be different is the moment we become the minority. This is the best economy ever for entrepreneurs.

3) Criticism is normal for any achiever. Expect resistance and criticism when doing the things others are not willing to do.

4) Focus on what we can control and trust the rest to our Creator. Worry wastes precious energy. Let’s focus on the thing that we can directly impact.

5) It’s not what happens to us it is how we handle it. Unexpected things will happen to all of us. Our success is directly dependent on how quickly we bounce back for setbacks.

6) Excuses are totally useless except for preventing us from succeeding. Be an excuse eliminator. What we normally think as reason are excuses. How about vaccinating ourselves against excusesitis?

7) Let’s commit to our dreams so we can be examples for others to follow. Lack of commitment to our dreams allows all kinds of distractions to become reasons for non-achievers. There is miracle in total commitment.
