Be a force for good! Be a difference maker!
1) Retire
young. The earlier you retire the long you live. Retirement is not
about age, it is about having the resources to live a great lifestyle. Get out
of the rat race. If you don’t love doing what you are doing stop and figure out
what you have been called to do. Be completely debt free. Focus on succeeding
at something that matters.
2) Simplify
your life. Get rid of stress. We cause the stress in our lives. Live by
priorities not obligations. Focus on developing healthy relationships. Live your
life for an audience of One.
3) Properly feed the body and mind. Avoid highly processed, chemical and sugar laden foods.
Increase vegetable and decrease animal protein consumption. There is joy in
cooking. Read, read and read. Control what goes into your brain and eventually you will control your thoughts.
4) Keep
body and mind/brain active. Be mobile, walk as much as you can. Keep
those neurons firing by doing exciting things, the things you love to do.
5) Help
others. Have a strong family life. Be a friend for those needing a
friend. Give the gift of time, the gift of yourself. A true friend helps a
friend to get better by having his interest at heart. Plant seeds of hope. Help
others make their world better. Spread the truth in the lives of others.
6) Have a
healthy those of nature and spirituality. Nature is healing and therapeutically
powerful. Underneath and the noise, can you listen to that small voice that
says “You are my Beloved, my favor rests on you”? To hear that voice requires
special effort in silence and solitude and a fine tuned ear to listen. Travel
and see the world with a new set of eyes. Have strong and unwavering faith.
7) Laugh a
lot. Enjoy life’s precious moments, see the beauty in things. Laugh
at yourself. Your struggles will become humorous stories later in life. When
you are happy let your face know so others can know it too!
Be blessed and be a blessing to others!
