Who’s
Educating Your Kids?
How
can we raise responsible kids in a negative and complacent world?
The possible is simple but not easy!
1. Turn them on
the great books, the classics.
Don’t count on high technology
and the negative media to educate your kids. If you do they will be controlled
by technology and the media.
2. Turn the
kids on a self-education system.
Don’t count on the public system
to educate your kids. If you do, it will be with their morals and values.
3. Take full
responsibility for your kids’ education.
Invest time and money in
providing the right experiences. If you don’t those that do will earn your kids
following.
4. Be a role
model for your kids.
We can teach what we know;
we will only duplicate who we are.
Take a moment and ask your kids. Who is your hero?
5. Help them to
make and keep the right friends.
We become who we associate
with.
Encourage your kids to associate
with kids from different personalities and cultures.
6. Allow them
to experience the pain of failure.
Turn them onto leadership
and entrepreneurship at a very early age.
Help them to see the world
with different set of lenses.
7. Help them to
become self-disciplined.
Encourage and uplift during
the difficult and frustrating times.
Your kids will either trust
you or blame you for the level of discipline you instilled in them.
Thank
you for reading and reflecting on today’s nuggets. Share them with others.
We make a living by what we get;
we make a life by what we give. Be a giver in a world of takers.
Be blessed and be a
blessing to others.
